Newtown homeowner Chuck reached out to Brown Roofing to replace his aging 25-year-old roof. Inspector Austin performed a thorough inspection and walked him through our premium materials and installation process, helping Chuck feel confident moving forward with us. Project Manager Noel and his skilled crew carefully removed the old shingles, inspected the plywood foundation (known as the sheathing), and replaced any damaged sections. They then installed an ice and water shield membrane, synthetic underlayment, and topped it all with IKO Dynasty shingles in the elegant shade of Summit Gray, backed by our 50-year warranty. With every detail finished and the property cleaned up, Chuck’s home now has a strong, stylish new roof built to handle whatever New England weather brings next. Brown Won't Let You Down!

Our expert crew wasted no time, tackling the job and completing a full roof replacement in just one day. Now, with solid new decking, top-tier shingles, and stunning skylights, Samuel's roof is built to last—moss and mold don’t stand a chance!
This home was suffering from molding and a leaky roof. Water was seeping in through the cracks of the old shingles and through the lichen growing on the roof. This water then absorbed into the wooden decking layer and rafters and started to mold over time.
First, we replaced the rotting wood with new plywood so we had a fresh base to work on. Then we laid down our sealing layer which consists of 3 materials that work together to create a watertight yet breathable layer on the decking layer. First, we lay down the strip tap, then the Sealeron Ice and Water, and finally a synthetic underlayment.
With the sealing layer done, we can move on to the shingles and this customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Castle Gray Shingles. These shingles matched the rest of the home perfectly and added so much value to the home, not just practically but also visually.
