Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

These homeowners in Cornwall, CT contacted us to replace their outdated roof. Our crew got to work quickly, removing the old shingles and installing all new owens corning lifetime shingles. The results look amazing and the homeowners couldn't have been more pleased!

This homeowner gave us a call asking about replacing their old damaged gutters. Their old gutters were constantly getting clogged and were overflowing with every storm. This was most likely due to the poor design of the gutters, unlike ours the old gutters have a sharp 90-degree drop at the downspout whereas our gutters have a wide mouth outlet which is designed to move as much water as possible. Our gutters are also slightly larger than traditional gutters but move twice the water due to the design. At the top of our gutters, we have our revolutionary rain hood ensuring only water ends up in the gutter system. Within the day this homeowner had brand new gutters that will redirect water and keep their house dry and safe.

IKO Dynasty Frostone Shingles.

This home's entire appearance is elevated by a new roof installation. The Brown Roofing team removed old worn shingles and replaced them with high-quality IKO Dynast shingles. This customer chose the color Summit Gray for their new shingles, and it couldn't look better!

This home was in pretty rough shape. There were shingles missing on the back half of the roof and there was a large hole that went all the way through the roof and was just being covered by a tarp. Luckily the damage was between the rafters so there were no major repairs needed.

We started by first ripping up all the old shingles and inspecting the decking layer. The decking layer looked to be in great condition, there were no wet or rotting areas so this gave us the green light to keep moving.

We then laid down decking tape, Sealeron Ice and Water, and a synthetic underlayment. These three layers help protect and insulate the roof. Finally, we installed the shingles flashings, and this customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Granite Black Shingles. For the flashings, we install them around any openings in the roof like vents and chimneys. We also install them anywhere the shingles meet the siding.

Now that the roof was installed we moved on to the gutter system, For this home we installed our 5k Gutter System to ensure that once the water leaves the shingles it efficiently and effectively makes its way down and away from the home.
