Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

When the Brown Roofing team replaced this customer's roof, they also installed ridge vents. After stripping the ares of the existing shingles, which is pictured in the first image, the crew installed vents along the ridges of this roof. The vent was topped with IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Frostone Gray. This allows for a seamless look, with the ridge vent only showing through a back outline along the ridge, as can be seen in the second photo. 

On this roof there was a lot of algae build up and color fade. Over time the algae on roofs eat away the UV protective layer which causes the shingles to fade faster than normal. The Abate family decided to go with our IKO Dynasty Brownstone Shingles which perfectly pairs with their beige siding. We also repaired their damaged trim and color matched it to the rest of the house.

For this home, our team replaced the roof and installed gutters. The roof was not in the worst condition, the shingles still had some life in them but they were fully covered in lichen and algae and this compromised them. Due to the lichen and a leaky flashing around the chimney the decking layer started to rot and needed to be replaced. We replaced the decking layer and laid down an Underlayment along with Ice and Water and this ensures that their roof would not leak again even if water somehow got through the shingles. This customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Shadow Brown Shingles. By the end of the day, they had a brand new roof that is guaranteed to keep them safe and dry for the next 50 years.

This homeowner's roof was in need of an update. The Brown Roofing team delivered, with a full roof replacement. The stark change in appearance of this roof is clear, but the process to achieve this great result is not so simple. The crew started by removed all of the stained and worn shingles. Next, any damaged wood was replaced, and underlayment was installed as another measure of protection. Finally, new IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Frostone Gray were added, in order to complete this home's transformation.
