After Project Manager Noel and his skilled crew removed the existing system, new CDX plywood was installed over the original skip sheathing to create a solid foundation. The roof was finished with IKO Dynasty architectural shingles in Summit Gray and upgraded moisture protection throughout. New 6-inch white gutters completed the exterior upgrade. This customer called us out to their home to replace a small section of their roof. They started to notice water stains forming on their ceiling which was due to the old age of the roof system. Since water was leaking all the way into the home all of the decking layer was rotting and molding, and definitely needed to be replaced. 

Once this was done we could lay down the sealing layer which consists of Sealeron Strip Tape, Sealeron Ice and water, and a sythetic underlayment. These three layers create a water tight and breathable barrier on the home that also acts as an insulator.

Lastly we can install the shingles and this customer decided on our IKO Dynasty Brownstone Shingles. This color matched up with the original shingles pretty well giving this home a fresh new look.

The Brown Roofing team completed a roof replacement on this large building in Terryville. The size of this roof, its many ridges, and flat roofing section, made this job more complex than an average roof replacement. However, our team was ready for the challenge. Our crew removed the old shingles, and replaced any damaged wood decking with new plywood. By replacing the damaged wood, our crew ensured that this roof would be safe and reliable. Ice and Water Shield and new IKO Dynasty shingles will prevent water from reaching the wood decking and causing water damage. This customer chose the shingle color Summit Gray.
