Before: Tarp Turmoil
Before our team arrived, Pamela and William had a tarp in place to temporarily protect their home from an active roof leak caused by a hole in the roofing system.
Clean Slate
Due to the extent of the damage, the existing roofing materials were completely removed down to the rafters, creating a clean slate for a full roof replacement.
New Decking Is Installed
Brand-new CDX plywood was installed across the roof, providing a strong, stable foundation for the new roofing system.
Seams Are Taped and Ice and Water Shield Is Installed
All plywood seams were sealed with all-weather deck tape to meet current building codes. Ice and water shield was installed along the eaves, valleys, and around all roof penetrations for critical leak protection.
Underlayment Completed & Drip Edge Flashing Installed
The roof was then covered with Velora One synthetic underlayment for a breathable, water-resistant barrier. Drip edge and rake metal were installed to guide water away from the fascia and into the gutter system.
New Shingles Go On
For their new roof, Pamela and William selected IKO Dynasty architectural shingles in Frostone Gray. These Impact 3-rated shingles offer enhanced durability and are backed by our 50-year warranty.
New Flashing for the Chimney
New metal flashing was installed where the chimney meets the roof, creating a watertight seal that directs water away from the junction and helps prevent future leaks.
The Roof After
After final detailing and a complete property cleanup, Pamela and William's roof replacement was complete - restoring reliable protection and a clean, finished appearance.
