The House Before
Here's what Anthony's home looked like before his roof and siding renovation. Swipe through to see the transformation.
Before: Three Tab Shingles
A closer look at the original roof revealed outdated three-tab shingles that had reached the end of their service life. Replacing them with a modern roofing system was the next step.
The Teardown Begins
The project began with a complete removal of the old shingles. Protective tarps were installed around the home to safeguard the property and ensure a clean, efficient worksite throughout the process.
The Decking Is Exposed
Beneath the shingles is the plywood roof decking, which serves as the structural foundation of the roofing system. Each section was carefully inspected for signs of rot, mold, or deterioration.
Bad Plywood Is Removed & New Plywood Is Installed
Any compromised areas were removed and replaced with new CDX plywood, creating a strong, stable base for the new roofing system.
New Shingles Are Installed
Synthetic underlayment was installed across the roof surface to provide a breathable, water-resistant barrier. Anthony then selected IKO Dynasty architectural shingles in Glacier - Impact 3-rated and backed by our 50-year warranty - for a durable, modern finish.
New Fascia Is Installed
New fascia boards were installed along the roofline. Fascia provides structural support for the gutter system and creates a clean edge, ensuring the new gutters are mounted to solid, properly protected material.
Old Siding Comes Off
With the roof complete, the team removed the existing siding to expose the underlying wall sheathing in preparation for the exterior upgrade.
New Plywood and Insulation Is Installed
Just like the roof, any damaged plywood behind the siding was removed and replaced to ensure a solid, long-lasting foundation for the new exterior system.
Ready for New Siding
Insulation was installed over the sheathing to improve energy efficiency, enhance durability, and create a smooth, impact-resistant surface for the new siding.
New Siding Goes On
Anthony selected ProVia Cedar Peaks siding in Pine, a rich deep green that pairs beautifully with his Glacier-colored roof. This premium vinyl siding offers long-term durability and elevated curb appeal.
New Gutters for a New Look
To complete the exterior transformation, new white gutters were installed, providing proper water management while adding clean contrast against the updated roof and siding.
The House After
With the roof, siding, and gutters complete, Anthony's home now features a cohesive, modern exterior that delivers both performance and standout curb appeal.
