    The Roof Before
Here's a look at Karen's roof before the renovation. Swipe through to see the full transformation!

    Tarped Up
To keep Karen's home protected while waiting for installation, our team applied an emergency tarp to prevent any further leaking or water damage.

    The Teardown Begins
The crew begins by removing all of the old shingles. Large protective tarps are placed around the home to catch debris and prevent any damage to the property during teardown.

The Decking Is Exposed & Examined
Under the shingles is a layer of plywood called the decking: the structural foundation of the roof. The crew inspected every section for signs of rot or decay, removing anything that wasn't structurally sound.

    New Plywood Is Installed
Damaged areas were replaced with strong CDX plywood, ensuring a solid and healthy base for the new roof system.

    Underlayment Is Installed
A full layer of premium underlayment is installed over the decking. This water-resistant membrane protects against rain, snow, and everything New England weather throws at us.

    New Shingles Are Installed
Karen selected IKO Dynasty shingles in the stunning shade of Glacier: stylish, impact-resistant, and backed by Brown Roofing's 50-year warranty.

    SBS Roof Section Is Installed
That triangular section of the roof has a low slope, so our crew installed a two-layer SBS membrane system (base + cap) to ensure proper drainage and superior waterproofing.

    Sharp New Look
With both the shingled and flat roofing areas complete, the home now has full, code-compliant protection and a beautiful fresh look.

Copper Flashing Is Installed on the Chimney
Copper flashing was installed around the chimney to create a durable, watertight seal with a stylish finish to match the new roof.

    The Beautiful Finished Flashing
The completed chimney flashing looks sharp and fully secured.

    The Beautiful Finished Roof
A stunning transformation! Karen's home now features a modern, durable roofing system that looks fantastic from every angle.
