Before Aerial View
This view shows the faded and weathered appearance of the old roof.
Signs of an Aging Roof
This close-up shows older shingles with visible wear and staining. These are the kinds of details Roof Inspector Austin looks for when helping homeowners understand whether repair or replacement is the better option.
Front Roof Tear-Off in Progress
The crew removed the old shingles from the front of the home so the roof could be rebuilt the right way. A full tear-off allows hidden issues to be found before the new roof goes on.
A Clear Look at the Roof Deck
Once the old shingles were removed, the crew could inspect the wood underneath. This step matters because a strong roof starts with a solid surface, not just new shingles on top.
Protection Comes First
tarps were placed around the home before the roof work began. This helps catch old shingles and debris while protecting the siding, landscaping, and walkways during the tear-off process.
Roof Protection
Protective ice & water shield was installed along the lower edges and roof sections. These layers help defend the home from wind-driven rain, melting snow, and water that can sneak under shingles.
Sealing the Seams
The blue tape marks sealed seams in the roof decking. This added step helps reduce the chance of water finding its way through small gaps in the wood beneath the roof system
Shingles
The new IKO Dynasty Granite Black shingles were installed in staggered courses over the protective underlayment. This is where the roof starts to transform from a work zone into a finished system
Full Roof System Complete
From above, the finished roof shows clean lines, covered ridges, and a balanced shingle pattern. Every section was tied together to help the roof shed water properly.
A Clean Finished Roofline
The completed roof gives the back of the home a sharp, updated look. Granite Black shingles add strong curb appeal while helping protect the home from all kinds of weather
