Drone View Before Replacement
Before work began, the roof showed age, discoloration, and moss growth. Roof Inspector Austin helped the homeowner understand what those signs meant and why replacement was the right next step.
Missing Shingles Along The Edge
Missing shingles and organic growth near the gutter line showed where moisture had been sitting. This is one reason Brown Roofing looks closely at edges, gutters, and lower roof sections during an inspection.
Moss Taking Over the Surface
This section shows how moss can spread across an older roof. Moss holds water against shingles, which can wear them down and lead to bigger roof problems over time.
Chimney Area Inspection
The chimney is a common leak-prone area because water naturally collects around roof openings. Brown Roofing checks flashing and nearby shingles carefully before rebuilding the roof system.
. Crew Safety and Tear-Off Work
The Brown Roofing crew worked across the old roof in sections, removing worn shingles and preparing the surface. Safety, cleanup, and careful staging are all part of the process.
Full Tear-Off in Progress
The old shingles were removed down to the roof deck. This allows the Brown Roofing team to inspect the wood underneath and correct hidden issues before the new roof goes on.
Underlayment Protection Begins
After old roofing materials were removed, the crew installed protective underlayment. This layer helps create a water-shedding barrier beneath the shingles.
Shingles Being Installed
The crew began installing the new IKO Dynasty Summit Gray shingles over the prepared roof surface. Each row is placed carefully so water can shed properly down the roof.
Installing the New Roof System
With underlayment in place, the team installed the new shingles section by section. Project Manager Jared oversaw the work to make sure the roof was built correctly from deck to ridge.
A Fresh Summit Gray Finish
The finished roof gives the home a cleaner, more protected look. IKO Dynasty Summit Gray shingles were installed to replace the aging roof and help protect the home from weather.
A Clean Finished Roofline
From above, the completed Summit Gray roof gives the home a sharp, even appearance. The new system replaces the stained, moss-covered roof with lasting protection.
Water Shedding Roof Decking
New plywood was installed and wrapped with synthetic underlayment as well as ice & water shield along the roof edge. A strong roof starts underneath the shingles, not just on the surface.
