Old Roof
The original roof was stained, sections moss covered and missing shingles
Organic Growth
Over time, moisture can soften shingles, loosen granules, lift shingle edges, and make the roof more vulnerable to leaks, rot, and freeze-thaw damage.
Roof Tear Off
Before any installation, the old roof is removed
Damaged Roof Decking
Sections of the deck were removed due to damage
Rot
Rotted decking at the edge
Roof Decking
This project required the team to replace sections of the decking
Water Protection
The roof is protected with the seams of the decking taped and ice & water shiled
Ice & Water and Underlayment
Protection from water is provided by synthetic underlayment and ice & water shield befor the shingles are secured to the decking
Staggered Shingles
Courses of shingles are staggered so the roof doesn't develop weak vertical lines where water and wind can sneak in.
Why Stagger Shingles
Staggering helps improve wind resistance, distribute stress, create a cleaner finished look and protect the nail zones
Copper Chimney Flashing
Copper flashing not only performs impeccably when properly installed, it also provides curb appeal
A Job Well Done!
The new roof looks spectacular.
