Chimney Repair Before & After Photos

The Brown Roofing team helped this customer with some chimney repairs. This beautiful stone chimney has worn out mortar, and a cracked chimney crown. The crew applied fresh new mortar in-between the stones, and poured a new chimney crown. Thanks to the hard work of our crew, this unique chimney looks as good as new!

The Brown Roofing team re-pointed this chimney in Hamden. The old mortar was scraped out, and new mortar was applied to the chimney. Our crew also poured a brand new chimney crown, and replaced some bricks. 

The Brown Roofing team gave this chimney in Stamford a total makeover. Our crew got to work removing the old chimney caps, chimney crown, and mortar from this chimney. Fresh mortar was applied, a new chimney crown was poured, and new chimney caps were installed. Thanks to our incredible team, this chimney will look and preform better than ever!

The first photo shows an older, patched chimney flashing system that looks tired and leak-prone. The second photo shows a cleaner, more intentional flashing repair with better protection at the chimney base. The chimney area is one of the most important places to get right, because even a small weakness there can send water behind the shingles and into the home.

The Brown Roofing team installed new copper flashing on this chimney in Fairfield. This new flashing adds beauty and character to a usually mundane home feature. This flashing will also keep water out, and slow down erosion.
