Photo Album: Fresh New Look for a Garage Roof in Naugatuck, CT

Project Manager Carlos and his crew headed out to Naugatuck to take care of a smaller job for homeowner Frank—his garage roof needed some serious love. It had definitely seen better days, but our team approached it with the same precision and care we bring to every roof we do. They stripped it all the way down to the rafters, installed a solid new plywood foundation, added protective underlayment, and topped it off with beautiful, durable IKO Dynasty shingles. Now Frank’s garage is rocking a strong new roof that’s ready for whatever comes its way! Brown Won't Let You Down!

Bare Bones

What better way to start on a new roof than with a beautifully clean slate? Stripped down to the rafters, we're ready to start renovating for real!

New Sheathing

Brand new plywood is installed to make up a new layer of sheathing-the structural base of the roof on which the shingles sit.

Underlayment

Before we put the shingles on, we install underlayment. This is a thin, waterproof membrane that protects the new sheathing from harsh elements like wind, rain, snow, and ice. Now we're ready for the new shingles!

The New Roof

The crew has topped off the garage with Frank's selected color of Graphite Black from our premium-laminated IKO Dynasty collection. A fantastic choice, Frank's new garage roof is ready to shine and built to last!
