Brown Roofing Staff Completes OSHA Fall Protection Training

At Brown Roofing, safety is never treated like a formality. It is part of who we are, part of how we work, and part of the promise we make to every homeowner we serve.
Recently, members of the Brown Roofing team completed OSHA fall protection training as part of our ongoing commitment to job site safety, professional development, and doing the job the right way. In roofing and exterior remodeling, skill matters. Experience matters. But safety training is what helps make sure that experience is backed by preparation, awareness, and the right decisions on every job site.

From roofing and siding to gutters, chimneys, and exterior repairs, much of the work we do takes place at heights and in conditions that demand focus and discipline. OSHA fall protection training helps reinforce the essentials, including hazard recognition, equipment inspection, proper harness use, anchor point awareness, fall clearance calculations, and the procedures that help protect our crews before work even begins.
For Brown Roofing owner Eddie Griffin, safety and training go hand in hand with professionalism.
“As a company, we have always believed that doing the job right means doing it safely,” said Eddie Griffin, Owner of Brown Roofing. “Training is vital because it gives our team the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves, protect each other, and protect the homeowners who trust us with their homes. You can never take shortcuts when it comes to safety.”
That mindset has helped shape Brown Roofing’s culture for decades. We believe that investing in our people is one of the best ways to deliver a better customer experience. When our team is trained, prepared, and supported, it shows in the quality of the work and in the professionalism our customers see on every project.
General Manager Dennis Danley says safety training is one of the foundations of consistency and accountability across the company.
“Safety training is essential because it keeps everyone on the same page and reinforces the standards we expect on every single job,” said Dennis Danley, General Manager. “It is not just about meeting requirements. It is about building habits, sharpening awareness, and making sure every team member understands how important their role is in creating a safe job site.”

For Production Manager Bill Healy, training has a direct impact on daily field operations. It helps crews prepare better, communicate better, and execute better.
“When our crews go through OSHA fall protection training, they are better equipped to recognize risks before those risks become problems,” said Bill Healy, Production Manager. “The more training our team has, the more confident and disciplined they are in the field. That matters not just for safety, but for the overall success of the project.”
At Brown Roofing, safety is about more than compliance. It is about responsibility. It is about protecting the people who make the work possible. And it is about giving homeowners peace of mind knowing the team working on their home is committed to high standards in every area, including job site safety.

This recent OSHA fall protection training is another example of Brown Roofing’s dedication to continuous improvement. We are proud of our staff for taking part, growing their knowledge, and reinforcing the safe work practices that help us serve Connecticut homeowners with excellence.
Because protecting what matters most starts with protecting our team.
