Challenge
This Bethany, CT homeowner had a lot of issues with water coming in from their chimney every time it rained. After we inspected the roof, we realized that the roof was not installed properly around the chimney, causing the extensive leaking problem. Water would run down the face of the roof, and sit against the chimney. This was a problem in the winter when the water would freeze and damage the flashings.
Solution
We installed a hip along this chimney to direct the water away from the chimney. This is a very intricate job, that we were able to get done in under a day, along with the complete roof replacement. This homeowner will never have to worry about water coming in again, and they are also backed with a 50-year warranty.
